Shandon Hime, CP, FAAOP
Founder, Owner and Head of Clinical Operations
Shandon’s professional background includes postgraduate work at Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Center where both certificate programs in Prosthetics and Orthotics were completed.
Shandon is a certified Prosthetist and Orthotist from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Prosthetics and Orthotics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetics and Certified in OTTO Bock C-Leg , Harmony Limb Volume Management, Upper Extremity Myoelectric Specialist and Ossur RHEO Knee certified. Other professional development certificates include: Gait and Pathomechanics; Orthotic and Prosthetic Management of the Pediatric Patient; and Orthotic and Prosthetic Management of the Geriatric Dysvascular/Diabetic Patient.
Most recently Shandon has been on the fore front of evaluating and fitting elevated negative pressure socket systems (Vacuum). He continues to work closely with the original R&D Prosthetist for the Harmony Limb Volume Management System. In this relationship he helps to further develop fitting principles and design criteria of vacuum sockets. Shandon also specializes in Transfemoral (Above Knee) amputees where his expertise provides for an optimal fit and a successful outcome.
Shandon’s expertise and commitment to the field of prosthetics and orthotics is evidenced by his continued work as an instructor on clinical consideration of various prosthetic socket systems and knee and foot components. These eight hour clinical courses have been presented throughout the United States to other Prosthetists, Physicians and Physical Therapists. Additionally, he is consulted with by several large prosthetic and orthotic component manufactures to conduct numerous clinical trails on foot and knee systems that have led to design changes prior to product release. Shandon also helps to design and present education materials on behalf of various service provides to the prosthetic and orthotic industry.
Shandon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University.
Brad R. Scott, CP, C. Pedorthotist
Brad’s professional background includes postgraduate work at Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Center where he completed the certification program in Prosthetics. He became part of the clinical staff at Anatomical Designs, LLC after completing one year of residency.
Brad is a Board Certified Prosthetist from the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics and Prosthetics. He is a certified Pedorthotist from Dr. William Scholl’s School of Podiatry. Brad specializes in elevated negative pressure socket systems (vacuum) for Trans-tibial (Below Knee) and Transfemoral (Above Knee) amputees. In addition, he has advanced training in biomechanical principles of knee and shin systems as it relates to prosthetic alignment and amputee gait. Brad is also highly skilled in upper and lower Orthotic management of the injured athlete. He also specializes in the evaluation, treatment and management of the diabetic foot.
Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree in sports medicine from California University of Pennsylvania. Recently, Brad was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award at California University of PA.
Other professional activities include: A member of AOPA; BCP (Board for Certification in Pedorthics); A member of the Fayette County Chapter of Special Olympics.
