I lost my leg in 1981 in an auto accident and this is my 3rd prosthesis. The first two incorporated the design of the times; they were wooden, heavy, anda it took me a long period of time to adjust to wearing them. Ultimately, I had a hard time coping just to keep the pain of wearing them manageable and that is where Mr. Hime came in. I called Anatomical Designs and was assured at that very first meeting that such would not be the case this time. They were right.

It has now been a little under two months with this new prosthesis, and I am walking every day for exercise without pain just because I can. I am unaware most of the time that I am even wearing it, the feel is so natural. I went from being negative about life and myself to "can't wait to start another day" attitude. I give thanks every day to him, this new leg, and my new life!
